Fuzzy Logic

Teupen lifts are often called the lifts with a brain.  A microcomputer fuzzy logic fail-safe control system sets Teupen lifts apart from their competition.  There are two onboard computers constantly monitoring every move and every motion 60 times per minute.  The microcomputer constantly monitors the situation and keeps the operator within the safe zone, automatically shutting down if it detects improper operation or unstable conditions that would cause an accident. 

 

As you can see, there are many redundant safety devices to protect the operator.   If you use the machine according to its purpose and within the 440 lbs. basket load capacity, this is the safest machine on the market, with even a larger rated load than most truck mounted lifts.  This lifts comes equipped with an onboard ER, like all new automotive onboard computers.  A fall arrest belt is sold with every new machine.

 

Automatic Shut-off

One of the most attractive features is the safety components.  In addition to being easy to operate, the Teupen lift is by far and wide, the safest available on the market today.  While other lifts only have an alarm to alert you to unstable conditions, Teupen lifts actually shut down and will not allow the operator to move to an unstable position.  This function makes it impossible to tip over and injure the operator.  Everyone can appreciate how this will save your business or association money.

 

Strict Safety Standards

Imported from Germany, Teupen lifts proudly refer to their adherence to the stringent standards for safety in aerial lifts in Europe and Canada.  Booms must pass a 200-percent overload test and prove themselves in terms of stability and strength. Proportional controls add to the safety factor by allowing for easier operation and smoother lift movement.
